What does it cost to work with you?
The investment depends on the formula you choose. Writing coaching starts from €3,750 (excl. VAT). For a full publishing trajectory, you can expect an investment between €10,000 and €30,000 (excl. VAT), depending on the print run, distribution model, and finishing of your book. We always provide a tailored quote based on our discussion during the orientation meeting, so you know exactly what to expect.
Will I earn back my investment through book sales?
We don’t see a book primarily as a business tool. A book that matters has a life of its own, sometimes immediate, sometimes not for years. The return isn’t always measured at the cash register. It shows up in the conversations it starts, the people it reaches when they’re ready, and the fact that it exists at all. That, to us, is the point.
What does the private publishing model mean, and how is it different from traditional publishing?
In traditional publishing, the publisher covers the costs but also takes the lion’s share of the revenue and retains the rights to your work. You often have limited say in design, timing, and marketing. In our private model, you invest in creating your book yourself, but you keep 100% of the revenue and retain full ownership of your rights. Think of it as commissioning a tailor-made suit: you pay for the craftsmanship, and the result is entirely yours. We provide the expertise, the team, and the quality; you keep the control.
Do I have to write the book myself, or can you do that for me?
That is entirely up to you. We have excellent editors and ghostwriters who can get inside your head and translate your ideas onto the page. If you prefer to write it yourself, our editorial coach will guide you through the process. A combination of both is also possible — whatever works best for you and your book.
How long does it take before I hold my book in my hands?
The standard timeline is about nine months. It can be done faster, but that requires separate arrangements and a higher investment. Good things take time, and we would rather deliver a book you are truly proud of than rush the process.
Can you guarantee my book will become a bestseller?
No, and here is why. First, we are not a fan of the concept of a “bestseller” because it’s misleading. Many books earn that label because authors buy up part of the print run themselves. We don’t engage in those kinds of practices. Second, a book’s success largely depends on the author’s visibility and willingness to actively promote it. We support you with marketing and PR, but ultimately it is up to you to share your “book baby” with the world. What we can guarantee is that your book will be of outstanding quality — both in content and in design.
Do your editors write everything themselves, or do they use ChatGPT?
All our editors, ghostwriters, and writing coaches are experienced professionals of flesh and blood. They are seasoned writers who have contributed to many books. They may use AI tools for research or brainstorming, but the actual writing is always done by a human hand.
Do I need a finished manuscript to get started?
Not at all. Many of our authors come to us with little more than an idea, a rough outline, or a head full of expertise that has not been put into words yet. That is exactly what we are here for. Whether you start with a blank page or a detailed draft, we meet you where you are and guide you from there.
What types of books do you publish?
We are open to anything. The main criterion for a new book is that it sparks our enthusiasm and that we would read it ourselves (but we have a broad taste ;-). Our main focus is on non-fiction books by visionary thinkers with unique and valuable perspectives on the world. We like to see our books as pieces of the puzzle that build our collective wisdom.
What happens after my book is published?
Publication is not the finish line; it is the starting point. We help you think about distribution strategy, whether that means bookstores, online platforms, direct sales, or a combination.
